Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET)

Gujarat Common Entrance Test, commonly known as GUJCET, is a state-level entrance examination conducted in offline mode by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board, Gandhinagar for admissions to B. Tech and Pharmacy courses in the state of Gujarat. Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is the authority responsible for conducting the counselling after the declaration of results.

GUJCET 2020 B.Tech Eligibility

Applicant must be 17 years of age or older
Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any other recognized board (e.g. CBSE / CISCE / NIOS / International School Board)
Candidates must be a citizen of India to apply for the examination. The candidate needs to be an official resident of Gujarat. In cases where the candidate’s domicile status is set in Gujarat but they are residing in another state, the candidate is eligible for the admission process.
Applicants who will be appearing for 10+2 examination (Science Stream) in 2020 can also apply for GUJCET 2020.
They must have passed 10+2 examination (Science Stream) with a minimum of 45% marks (general category) and 40% (reserved categories).
GUJCET 2020 B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be 17 years of age or older
Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any other recognized board (e.g. CBSE / CISCE / NIOS / International School Board)
Candidates must be a citizen of India to apply for the examination. The candidate needs to be an official resident of Gujarat. In cases where the candidate’s domicile status is set in Gujarat but they are residing in another state, the candidate is eligible for the admission process.
Applicants who will be appearing for 10+2 examination (Science Stream) in 2020 can also apply for GUJCET 2020. The candidate must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with either Maths or Biology.
They must have passed 10+2 examination (Science Stream) with a minimum of 45% marks (general category) and 40% (reserved categories).

Last date to pay online: 08 Feb 2019 16 Feb 2019

Last date to pay online with a late fee: 24 Feb 2019

Admit card Release Date: 16 Apr 2019

GUJCET 2019 exam date: 23 Apr 2019 26 Apr 2019

Important Note:

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar has announced the postponement of GUJCET 2020 due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The notification provides that the exam will now be conducted after April 15, however, the new exam dates will be announced by authorities only after March 31, 2020.
